Become a member of Goodreads (www.goodreads.com), then friend me (Ashley Taylor)! It's free, easy, and you can keep up with everything you've ever read or ever want to read! Eventually, I would like to start an online book club if enough people are interested.

--Alabama Virtual Library (Free to all Alabama citizens!)
No more AVL cards for home access!
We are using a technology called Geolocation that can determine if you are located within the state of Alabama. If you are in Alabama, then you are automatically logged in to use the AVL resources. It's that simple!
Mouse over this icon The Bookworm Home - The Bookwormin the top right corner of the AVL site to see how Geolocation works for you.

If you are living out of state (in college, etc.) or will be traveling out of state and need to use AVL, you will still need to come by the library to get a card!

Hi Ashwey!!!
I may have mentioned some of these names to you before, but just in case, here are some good authors and/or book titles:
Carolyn Haines--she writes the "Bones" series of books (NOT as in the show, that's a different author)
Garden Spells and The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen
Twisted Creek and The Secrets of Rosa Lee by Jodi Thomas (apparently the only two NON bodice-rippers she's written!)
And of course the Adriana Trigianni books.
If I'm not mistaken, all of the above are southern writers as well!

Hope all is well!
love and miss you.
C
